12th December Advent titbit:
December is a great period to appreciate some of the world's different traditions and cultural customs. Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, 'Feast of Our Lady Guadalupe' - these are all being celebrated around the world this month.

In fact, the 12th of December marks the 'Feast of Our Lady Guadalupe' in Mexico. The holiday dates all the way back to the 16th century, where a newly baptised man was said to have seen a lady bearing an uncanny resemblance to the virgin Mary.

As the name implies, the celebrations include a gathering and feasts - and sometimes decorations.
